Pixma wireless setup methods:
Use
the WPS method
- Locate the WPS button on your Printer and once if you click on it, an ON lamp will appear on the screen
- If WPS method is not compatible, use the cable less method or standard connection method
- Insert the CD provided with the package
- Wait for the initial screen to appear
- A prompt will appear
- Type the password to access the helper tool
- Now a screen or the page will load
- You can select the connection type
- View the settings to connect the printer to the network
- Do not miss any of the setup prompts that
appear on the screen
- Click on the option, cables setup to
proceed further
- Set the region and location information and
you will receive a prompt for the same
- Add your printer to proceed further
- Note that these settings depend on the model and the operating system version that you choose.
- Commonly, you may end up receiving errors. Identify and analyze the reason and cause of the error to begin troubleshooting
- Once if the network connection is active, select the document to print and wait for the quality print outs to arrive
